A standardized rights statement that describes access permissions and restrictions for the public user. This statement will generally be specific to a collection or an organization. A default rights statement should be available for a generic description of broadly applicable rights in the absence of a specific statement. Also, the ability to add a generic free-text description should be supported for a rights declaration at the resource level.
