A local bibliographic identifier, or unique character string which identifies the bibliographic (catalog) record in a particular computer-based system. The localBibID is comprised of a value and a type attribute. Do not confuse with the item's own unique identifier, such as an accession, inventory, or call number; for those numbers, use "shelvingLocator".
