Abstract or summaryAir quality chemical species databases and source emission inventories provide valuable information for the scientific community, environmental groups, resource managers, the health effects community, legislators and educators. This study and the associated datasets demonstrate an approach for evaluating a molecular level sampling and analysis protocol for organic marker compounds at the high pictogram m--‐3 (ppt) to low nanogram m--‐3(ppb) mass concentrations in urban and background receptor sites.
