The Inclusion and Diversity Research Portal pulls together for the first time the published work of Rutgers faculty working on diversity and inclusion research across the disciplines, highlighting the broad involvement of faculty and graduate students in investigating these important issues. Through the portal, this research is made available to anyone worldwide, promoting the University's intellectual contributions to diversity and inclusion freely without borders. The portal also serves to connect researchers with one another by helping faculty and students identify others working on related areas, building research communities and fostering collaborations across the State of NJ.

The portal answers the University's strategic plan call to form a more inclusive, diverse and cohesive culture, and addresses the strategic priority to enhance public prominence by showcasing RU faculty research to the world.
