This collection of digital maps includes many historic maps from Rutgers University Libraries' Special Collections and Archives. Users can browse by subject terms (e.g. agriculture or railroads) and by counties of New Jersey. It should be noted that there are a significant number of aerial photographs of New Jersey communities included in this collection. These resources are included here as a natural complement to the map collection. Other topical collections of digital maps are in the process of being added to this website.
