Abstract
Collection of recipes handed down from the colonial era, compiled by the women of the Lafayette Reformed Church, located in the area of the earliest Dutch buildings in Hudson County. Dishes include Roellachoje, a variety of cakes, pies and other baked goods, soups, pickled items, puddings and candies, plus a turpentine-based wood polish. 1916 reprint of 1885 original.
