The Fenner House on the east side of Route 202-206 removed about 1940, in a drawing c. 1937 by Henry Beekman from a photograph by Fred Williamson c. 1910. Tradition says General Washington stayed here after the Battle of Princeton and that Washington or one of his officers rode horseback up the stairs to the second floor.
