Abstract (type = abstract)
In this "I remember" memoir, Gasper Gasparini, a 50-year veteran of the Seabrook Engineering Department, describes the facilities and utilities that helped make Seabrook Farms self-sufficient. He discusses the production of water, steam, electricity, and their roles in the Seabrook community. The Seabrook Educational and Cultural Center has been soliciting current and past residents of Seabrook Farms for an "I remember" project. Residents are asked to create narratives regarding their experiences at Seabrook Farms. These memories help preserve the history and multi-cultural heritage of Seabrook Farms.
