DescriptionThe New 1992 State Water Quality Inventory Report is an assessment of current water quality conditions in the State's major rivers, lakes, estuaries, ocean waters, and ground water. In addition, the report describes which waters are attaining state designated water uses, the pollution problems identified, and the suspected and known sources of water pollution. Waters assessed in this report are limited to New Jersey state waters; no interstate waters are assessed.
NoteThis report is prepared every two years pursuant to Section 305(b) of the Federal Clean Water Act and is the tenth in a series of state water quality inventory reports since 1975.
