Abstract
This report addresses the quality of New Jersey's water and includes an introduction and summary of methods, summaries of water quality data and water quality problems, the capital costs of achieving 1983 goals of the Clean Water Act Amendments, an analysis of the occurrence and distribution of toxic substances in New Jersey's surface and groundwaters, an inventory water quality in 27 New Jersey waterways, a report on shellfish harvest, a report on toxic materials spills and fish kills, and a report on the Lakes Management Program.
