DescriptionThe uninvited book signifies the book that simply asks to be made through spontaneous acts of creativity. In the morning workshop, book artists discuss the ideas and influences that shape their own creative output through visual examples and personal stories. By thinking about where ideas come from, the artists discuss how interactions between their materials and tools prompts specific creative exchanges, how experience is inherently connected and embedded within the artistic process, and how the nature of the book itself facilitates creative dialogue. To close, the book artists field questions from the audience.
