DescriptionThe object of this paper is to present the subject of the initial plant food in the seed, and its effect upon plant growth and crop production, and to impress the fact of resulting differences as conveyed by the data. Other conditions, other influences upon the growth of the plant, are neither overlooked nor disregarded, although only the question of initial reserve of available plant food is dealt with here.
