DescriptionThe work undertaken in this thesis dealt mainly with the problem of how to reduce the first part of the incubation period in soil-rockphosphate-sulfur mixtures before the phosphorus becomes available when a calcareous, slightly alkaline soil is used, and of reducing the amount of such a soil in the mixture to a point which would make the process practical in the factory.
