Lower Frequencies is engaged with the cross cultural imagination. Poems that function as zip lines in connecting the bi-cultural and bi-diasporic connection of space and place from Lusaka to Chicago to Dakar to backstage with the Oscar Peterson Trio. What this collection aims to accomplish is to illuminate singularity as a form of modality which one should actively resist as a means of living or engaging with others.
