DescriptionToday’s challenging problems in science and industry are solved by complex data-driven algorithms. Distributed computing paradigm has emerged as the way to satisfy the growing computational and storage demands of these algorithms. Systems that enable distributed computing are desired to execute workloads with fast and predictable performance. However these systems have long been plagued by the runtime performance variability, which in turn significantly slows down workload execution and reduce performance predictability.
