DescriptionThis collection of poems seeks to find the connection between the waters of Southern Missouri and the speaker’s family history. They visit the Lake of the Ozarks and the Big Niangua River; travel to the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia; and float in and out of memory of the speaker’s family and the land she grew up on, reconciling the past of drug addiction, poverty, and the making of the reservoir.
