DescriptionThe Pahaquarry copper mine is located in Warren County, New Jersey, 13 miles northeast of Columbia, N.J., and one-quarter mils east of the Delaware Rirer. The ore occurs as veinlets, knots and fine disseminated specks of copper minerals, principally chalcocite, in a gray quartsite. The writer estimates a minimum inferred tonnage of 2,435,000 tons of low rade, siliceous ore.
This report covers geology, ore deposits (mineralogy and occurrences of copper), and ore reserves of the Pahaquarry copper mine and includes a set of recommendations.
