DescriptionThis is a study of the American Chestnut (Castanea dentata) and its restoration in New Jersey. The study is broken down into four sections: History; Value; Restoration Efforts; and Chestnut Blight. There is a current recovery effort being conducted by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, New Jersey Field Office (Service) and its partners, and several volunteers.
