DescriptionThis document reports the results of baseline macroinvertebrate samples that were collected at predetermined sites in the South Branch Raritan River and two tributaries over a three year period, 1994-1996, by teams of trained volunteers utilizing procedures outlined in the US EPA Manual entitled "Rapid Bioassessment Protocols for Use in Streams and Rivers." The field samples were subsequently identified by a qualified lab and then analyzed utilizing NJDEP "Criteria for Screening Water Quality for New Jersey Streams."
