DescriptionEstuary News is published quarterly by the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary, a private, nonprofit organization established in 1996. The Partnership leads collaborative and creative efforts to protect and enhance the Delaware Estuary and its tributaries for current and future generations. It is the home of the Delaware Estuary Program (DELEP), one of 28 national estuary programs. This Fall 1998 newsletter focuses on: a message from the editor; updates from the DELEP implementation teams; news from around the region; upcoming events; raptors; East Point Lighthouse; The Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education's water quality monitoring volunteers; NJ Coastal Heritage Trail; the Federal Energy Policy Act and plumbing efficiency standards; and Public Service Electric & Gas (PSE&G) estuary enhancement.
