DescriptionThis technical manual will define the procedural and substantive
requirements for the completion of an application and the review
thereof, and shall clarify the Department's policies and
interpretations of any laws, rules, and regulations relating to the
filing and review of the application, in order to assist applicants in
the preparation of air pollution control permit applications for
cogeneration facilities in excess of 10 MMBTUjhr in size. This manual
only discusses requirements for turbines and duct burners. Please
refer to the boiler or reciprocating engine Technical Manuals Nos. 1409
and 1411 if your cogeneration facility uses those types of sources.
