DescriptionIn the text which follows the accomplishments of the North Jersey District Water Supply Commission are described, and in addition there is gathered together, for the information of the reader, a brief history of water supply situation preceding the creation of the commission and a discussion of the studies which the commission has made leading to a proper provision for the future.

Contents include the early history and description of the Wanaque Project, the creation of the North Jersey Water District, additional supply studies undertaken by the Commission, a history of water supplies of Northern New Jersey, including previous commissions.
