DescriptionRecent data from numerous sites, particularly in Monmouth and Burlington Counties, indicate that elevated levels of arsenic as well as several other presumably naturally occurring metals may be associated with glauconitic marl and other soil types. The following information is provided to indicate the site locations, levels of elevated arsenic and other metals and when known, information regarding site geology and soil types. This document includes summarized data from sites referred to the NJDEP/SRP/BEERA (Kevin Schick - 609-984-1825) and is NOT a comprehensive summary of data from all SRP groups. This document should be used only for general, informational purposes. Sites are arranged alphabetically within each county.
