DescriptionThe Master Plan is primarily an advisory document which can best serve as a guide in the programming of public works and the adoption of ordinances and codes relevant to land development by the Mayor and Council; in the approval of new subdivisions by the Planning Board; and in the location of new facilities and provision of services by the municipal, State, and County planning agencies. However, the plan will only become effective when the Mayor and Council take such legislative, administrative or financial action as may be needed to effectuate the various proposals contained therein.
