DescriptionEstuary News is published quarterly by the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary, a private, nonprofit organization established in 1996. The Partnership leads collaborative and creative efforts to protect and enhance the Delaware Estuary and its tributaries for current and future generations. It is the home of the Delaware Estuary Program (DELEP), one of 28 national estuary programs. This Spring 2002 newsletter focuses on: water conservation; updates from DELEP; news from around the region; restoring American shad to the Schuykill River; cows may be the answer to dwindling groundwater supply; Reclaimed Water for Beneficial Reuse (RWBR); air pollution's relationship to water quality - atmospheric deposition; blue crabs; Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge; teachers resources; and upcoming events.
