DescriptionThe purpose of this report is to present the findings of the study of ponding in beach areas of Wildwood Crest. The report includes a description of the current situation concerning beach protection, stormwater runoff problems, natural beach accretion process, review of several alternatives, and recommendations. The recommendations contained in the report are aimed at goals to improve Atlantic Ocean water quality, preserve and expand the existing dunes, and eliminate low areas of the beach which are subject to ponding.
