DescriptionThis plan for disposal of all solid waste in Burlington County is intended for county government officials. It is a management plan which incorporates the disposal needs of industrial, commercial, agricultural and residential entities. The authors recommend several different plans of action for different types of waste. Cost estimates are based on "Life Cycle Costing" techniques developed by the U.S. Department of Defense. Some disposal techniques reviewed include baling, electrical power generation and several supporting subsystems.
