DescriptionFish House Cove and Tippin's Pond are two adjacent areas of natural beauty along the Delaware River in Pennsauken Township. They are also remarkable for their ability to thrive while surrounded by industrial and residential development. The Township of Pennsauken recognized the areas by creating a Waterfront Management Area. This report describes various aspects of both areas, such as climate, soils, topography, vegetation, wildlife, water quality, coastal flooding and tides. It also covers recreational, historical and land use aspects of both areas. The report recommends plans for expanded recreational use of Fish House Cove and Tippin's Pond.
