DescriptionThis report contains the opinions and recommendations of a diverse group of citizens regarding how Atlantic County government can best prepare to meet the challenges of continuing economic growth, casino related development and increasing cultural and ethnic diversity. The Committee that prepared this report was composed of ten policy groups. They were: Health, Intergenerational Services: Seniors, Youth and Disabled, Public Safety, Technology, Women and Minority Concerns, Education and Employment Development, Environment, Coordination of Transportation Services, Quality of Life: Parks, Open Space, Recreation and the Arts, and Regionalization of Governmental Services. Each policy group contributed a chapter to the report.
