Nitrate in Ground Water and Surface Water in a Residential Subdivision: West Windsor Township, Mercer County, New Jersey. Retrieved from https://doi.org/doi:10.7282/T3W37W7R
DescriptionThis document reports the results of tests done of the nitrate level in ground water from five shallow wells (less than 50 feet deep) in West Windsor Township between February 1989 and September 1993. The wells studied were located on land which was once farmland and is now residential. The report concludes that there have been slight decreases in nitrate levels of these wells over time. A comparison is also made between nitrate levels in ground water and those in local bodies of water (Bear Brook and Millstone River).
