DescriptionThis report of the workshop provides information related to the emerging relevance of evolutionary biology to applied problems and opportunities. Key areas explored were: Phenotypic Expression in Novel Products and Processes; Bioremediation; Novel Environments; Biodiversity/Conservation. The report is divided into two major sections, accompanied by a variety of appendices. The first section summaries issue areas, such as "Relevant" Capabilities of Evolutionary Biology, Awareness and Two-way Communication, etc. The second section gives more detailed information, including panelist abstracts and summaries of the answers given by groups to all ten questions.
