DescriptionThe 1994-1999 New Jersey Open Space and Outdoor Recreation Plan is the sixth statewide comprehensive outdoor recreation plan prepared by New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) since the passage of the Land and Water Conservation Fund legislation in 1964. The goal of the plan is to provide guidance to the various levels of government in acquiring, developing, maintaining and protecting outdoor recreation resources throughout the state. This report was prepared by the Green Acres Bureau of Planning.
NotePurpose: To implement open space and recreation planning policies and projects that are consistent with the New Jersey State Development and Redevelopment Plan.
