Addendum to 201 Wastewater Facilities Plan Prepared for Atlantic Highlands-Highlands Regional Sewerage Authority. Retrieved from https://doi.org/doi:10.7282/T3SB45NS
DescriptionThis addendum to the 201 Wastewater Facilities Plan for the Atlantic Highlands/Highlands Regional Sewerage Authority (AH/HRSA) addresses the regional treatment alternative at the Township of Middletown Sewerage Authority (TOMSA) proposed expanded treatment plant. The original facility plan, completed in March 1980, recommended a new treatment plant at the Gravel Pit No. 2 site, but the AH/HRSA became engaged in legal action with Middletown Township concerning the right to use the site for a treatment facility. The purpose of updating the AH/HRSA 201 plan was to provide the necessary information to compare the previously selected alternative against the option of conveying wastewater to the TOMSA wastewater treatment plant. In order to fully evaluate the situation, the report provides the following work scope: assessment of existing sewerage facilities; comparison of alternatives; and final plan selection.
