Abstract
Ancestral home of John Burr, Burrs Rd. Mt. Holly. While the interior of this fine old mansion was burned out, the owner has restored the lines on their original plan with the same stone walls. The south wall stone is Burr. I. (John) E. 1732, east end stone is 1725, west end has rounded top date stone. This date stone is among the very few markers which have the name in full lettering. A small brick over the fireplace was found after the fire of 1933. It has H. B. (Henry Burr), 1730.
