Abstract
Right to left, front row: Sol Stetin; unidentified; New Jersey Senator Harrison Williams. Right to left, second row: Joel Jacobsen, former president of the NJ IUC; Bill Gordon, Director of Textile Workers Union of America (TWUA) Pension Fund and Vice President of TWUA; William DuChessi, Secretary-Treasurer of TWUA and former PAC Director; John Condron, President of Local 1932. The American Labor Museum online collection includes historical documents and photos. The objects document the domestic lifestyles, working experience in textile factories, and labor union activity of working class immigrant families of Paterson, NJ and environs, ca. 1890 - 1920. Also documented are activities of the Textile Workers' Union of America (TWUA), the Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers' Union of America (ACTWU), and textile union leader Sol Stetin.
