DescriptionPreincarnation is a novel told in the first person by narrator Lazlo Lasher. Lazlo wakes up in a different body each day. He is a time traveler who inhabits the mind and physical form of men, women and children throughout history and around the globe. However, he has never had control over this existence and feels trapped in the predicament. In the opening pages, he finds himself on an island in the south of Thailand, where he witnesses the murder of another time traveler caught in the same predicament. Lazlo is unable to stop the murder. Upon being knocked unconscious in the attack, he once again continues to time travel. The novel follows him across the continents and centuries as he attempts to gain control of his dilemma and find his way back to the time and place of the murder.
