DescriptionThis paper seeks to explore the reasons as to why Poland may or may not have escaped the Black Death. The reasons can be broken down into three categories; lack of spread, lack of deaths, and lack of information. From these reasons three alternative explanations that may addresses Poland’s unique situation include missing or non-existent data, culture and economics, and geography.
